I am writing today in support of S.158.

• Optometrists should be allowed to practice to the highest level of their training.
• Optometrists in 24 other states can provide a higher level of surgical services than Vermont; 7 states already have what S.158 would allow.
• Allowing this expansion would improve access, lower costs, and reduce visits to receive necessary care.
